oops!!!

Hi family,

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you this summer. In the meantime for some reason or other a blog I started has ended up on the Lemire site. I have no idea how it got there unless long ago I signed up for the Lemire blog and then forgot it?!?!?! Any way I'm writing under the name of Andy Hank. I'm a fairly new computer user so it's very possible I screwed up. Just ask my sister. Feel free to check it out as the link is on the Lemire sight. I filled out a form and everything. See you all in August. Annie

The Tim Darland Family

Hello to all Tim's family. For those of you who we haven't seen for a while... we are the grandparents of four.... One grandson, Alec, lives on the Rogue River at Eagle Point with his parents, Scott and Lisa Darland.

Son, Tony, has three children in Muskegon, Michigan. He and Jennifer have Nolan, 6, and baseball fan, daughter Evie, 4 next month, and baby Faith born this May. We have yet to visit Michigan to see Faith.

Tim has been retired since 2002. He gardens still (just bought another new tractor for this season). He has sold most of his produce on contract to a farm stand. They buy his green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, green peppers, etc. This fall they will buy the entire crop of Harvest corn. That's the decorative fall stuff.... not edible. Besides that is a bonus. The want the corn stalks as well...

He plays golf and is improving his handicap every year. He is in a large tournament in two weeks. It goes a week and ends on Labor Day Monday.

I retired from 20 years with the newspaper here... stayed retired two years, then I got a tap on the shoulder from our Chamber of Commerce. I am their Vice President of Sales and Marketing. I am responsible for revenue in a Chamber with a $1.3 million budget and 1650 members. I am due to retire sometime in 2010. My replacement has already been hired and is being trained.

We will post some photos one of these days. Catch you all later. Thanks to Ryann for this spectacular method of communicating with all of you. We hope to hear from y'all. Love to the family... Tim and Sandy
